Saint Patrick’s Day in coming soon!

You heard well! The tradition goes on and in March, all Quebec City will be celebrating Saint Patrick’s Day. We participated for the first time a few years ago, and since that time, this weekend is duly noted in our calendar.

 

Every year, there are new bars and pubs who take part in Saint Patrick’s Day festivities. It has become a popular event in the city, and there are many options for everyone who wishes to share an Irish beer or to listen to Irish bands!

 

You want to do an Irish pub crawl? Visit the Old Quebec! First, there is the Murphy that has a true festive atmosphere. Near this one, there is the Pub Saint-Alexandre, which is an institution in Quebec City for Irish celebrations. If you want to be surrounded by a more traditional décor, you have to go to Pub Nelligan’s. Plus, they offer a vast and delicious choice of whiskies! Last but not least, the Pub Saint-Patrick, located in a beautiful historic building, where you can taste typical Irish meals and beers.

 

And finally, since the Irish people definitely know how to party, you are going to need a nice breakfast in the morning to recuperate. Pub Galway, on Cartier Avenue, has a delicious breakfast menu. Since there are more and more people celebrating Saint Patrick’s Day in Quebec City, there is a true festive atmosphere all March long. People take this opportunity to share their passion for Irish beer, Irish music and pleasant gatherings.
